EPIPHONE FT-150 BARD
12-STRING ACOUSTIC 1976
This came from a folkie
in Maldon who'd not been able to play jigs and reels on it very well.
I've found they sound quite good!
It's a beautiful
even-tempered guitar, sounds great amplified and stays in tune for
about a year at a time. It's also lasted very well for a 12-string and
still has a great action - hence its virtues for fingerpicking.
I fitted a bone saddle
and nut in the 80s, and it has an Armstrong transducer under the
bridge.
These 70s Japanese
Epiphones, with a confusing range of models and serial numbers, are
much underrated, in my opinion.
