Akai EWI 4000s, 2008 This was a retirement present from my staff, and jolly generous they were, too. The EWI is a wind-controller with on-board synthesizer. I've barely begun to exploit it yet (it's hard enough playing a normal sax), but I've used it both with its internal sounds, and via an orchestral synth both for live and recording work. |
